Dried blossoms for gentle teas, syrups & light desserts
Dried hollyhock/mallow blossoms add a soft, floral note and a naturally elegant color to teas and sweet preparations. Use them on their own or blended with other edible flowers and citrus zest.

Brewing & Basic Ratios
- Hot tea: 1–2 tsp (≈0.5–1 g) blossoms per 250 ml water at ~95 °C; steep 5–7 min; strain.
- Cold infusion (color-forward): 2 tsp per 250 ml cool water; steep 30–60 min; strain.
- Syrup base: 1–2 Tbsp per 500 ml water; simmer 2 min, steep off-heat 10–15 min; strain; sweeten 1:1 with sugar.
Culinary Uses
- Teas & blends: combine with rose or elderflower; add citrus peel for lift.
- Desserts: infuse milk/cream for panna cotta, custards or ice cream; strain for a smooth finish.
- Fruit & yogurt: drizzle with a quick mallow syrup; garnish with a few crumbled petals.
- Garnish: sprinkle over cakes, pavlovas or breakfast bowls just before serving.
